MNR College of Nursing

MNR College of Nursing is established by MNR Educational Trust, and it is also located on the MNR-HERA Campus, Sangareddy, Telangana State. MNR College of Nursing is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and the Telangana State Nurses and Midwives Council, Hyderabad, Telangana State. It is also affiliated with the KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana State, and with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh State. The Nursing College was established in 2002 with an initial intake of 40, which increased to 100 from 2006. MNR College of Nursing has also been offering M.Sc. Nursing course since 2009.

MNR believes that nursing is an integral and a very unique part of the healthcare system and carries a great responsibility for attaining the optimum health for all patients. Our nursing faculties are well-experienced professionals who shape and train the students into professional nurses who in turn become competent enough to undertake any responsibilities and perform nursing care with utmost care. They are trained in such a way that they are fully aware that their goal is to promote health, prevent illness, and restore optimal health.

Modern nursing is a dynamic therapeutic and educative process that addresses an individual, the family, and the community healthcare needs. As the healthcare system is changing rapidly with addition to new sophisticated technologies nurses should have adequate knowledge, clinical competency, and the independent ability in clinical judgments. Since nurses provide a large part of healthcare, MNR training equips them with professional expertise to meet society's changing demands and expanding roles.

To achieve this, the emphasis is laid to impart the knowledge and skills that are most relevant to the community's healthcare needs. Nursing education is responsible for helping students develop pride in their profession, besides keeping them abreast with current knowledge and professional trends for a successful career ahead.

Nursing is a practice, which needs to be strengthened with knowledge, skills, communication, and values through appropriate teaching methods by qualified personnel. Our institution motivates and orients the students in wider aspects of clinical experience and provides comprehensive nursing care.
